Third Man Charged Over Fatal Old Trafford Robbery

A third man has been charged after a robbery where a 30-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Old Trafford.
25 year old Nathan Walters from Salford, has been charged with robbery and is due to appear at Trafford Magistrates' Court
later today. (Sat 6th August)
At around 9.40pm on Tuesday 26 July 2011, officers were called to a shop on Shrewsbury Street, Old Trafford following reports a man had been injured.
Officers attended and discovered a number of men had tried to rob the shop.
30-year-old Gary Mullings, from the New Moston area, was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
A post mortem revealed he died from stab wounds.
His bothers Joseph Junior Mullings and Kyle Mullings were both charged with robbery and are next due before Minshull Street Crown Court on Thursday 13 October 2011.
A 72-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed until 9 September 2011 pending further inquiries.
