A Manchester man's apparently killed himself at a shooting range in Thailand.
42-year-old Andrew Davis was apparently practising firing the gun at the target before he turned the weapon on himself and pulled the trigger of the rented Magnum revolver. He died instantly.
The incident was caught on CCTV cameras at the shooting range in Pattaya on Sunday.
According to local media reports in Thailand, Mr Davis was under supervision from an employee at the range when he suddenly turned the gun on himself.
Local reports said paramedics and police were called and officers viewed the CCTV footage. It is not thought the death is being treated as suspicious.
Mr Davis reportedly lived in a hotel and rented a motorbike after leaving the UK around four years ago following his divorce.
He is understood to be a father of two.
The Suns reported that friends of Mr Davis flew out from Stockport to see him in Thailand and were enjoying drinks with him just hours before the incident.
A spokesman for the Foreign Office said: "We can confirm the death of a British national in Pattaya, Thailand. We are providing consular assistance to the family."
