Second Man's Charged Following Sale Serious Assault

A second man's been charged with Assault after a man was attacked in Sale.

On New Years Eve police were called to Framingham Road in Sale, following reports a man had been assaulted.

A 27-year-old man was found with serious head injuries, he remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

It is believed one of his friends had been involved in a scrap outside Taste Buds takeaway on School Road shortly before.

24-year-old Stuart David Ryan, of Princess Street in Broadheath, is charged with Section 18 Assault (causing grievous bodily harm with intent).

He appeared at Trafford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 11 January 2012.

26-year-old Imran Qasar of Homestead Crescent in Burnage, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and was due before Trafford Magistrates' Court on Monday 2 January 2012.
