Salford Teen Robbed At Gunpoint

Police in Salford are on the look out for two men after a teenager was robbed at gunpoint.

It happened around 11.30pm last Thursday when the 19-year-old was riding his bike along Wallness Road.

One of the men pointed a gun at him and demanded he got off his bike and emptied his bag.

They told him to hand over his wallet but were disturbed by a member of the public and made off in the direction of Seaford Road, taking the bike.

The first man is described as being white, of slim build, 5ft 7in tall and was in his 20s. He was wearing a dark jacket with the hood up, dark trousers and dark trainers.

The second man is described as being white, around 5ft 8in tall, of slim build and in his 20s. He was wearing a dark blue beanie hat and waterproof jacket with the hood up. He wore a neck warmer that covered his nose and mouth and had dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.

Police Constable Mark Cole from the Volume Crime Team said: “The victimwas not hurt but has understandably been left shaken after his ordeal.”
