Oldham Girl Hit By Car "Serious"

A 9 year old girl is being treated for serious injuries after being hit by a car in Oldham.

Emergency services were called out just before 8.40 this morning to the junction of Gainsborough Avenue and Copster Hill Road.

Officers attended and found a nine-year-old girl had been hit by a blue Honda Jazz.

The young girl was airlifted to hospital and is currently being treated for serious injuries.

Road closures remain in place at the scene.
