No Risk To Manchester Flights Due To Volcanic Ash
Iceland has closed its main international airport following a volcanic eruption of the country's most active volcano.
A plume has shot 12 miles into the sky. The country's airport operator says the ash cloud is covering Iceland, but is
NOT heading towards Europe.
Last April, another volcano on the island erupted causing travel chaos.
Manchester Airport Spokesman Russell Craig has told Capital the UK isn't expected to be affected.
