Police are looking into a number of forecourt robberies in the region.

Officers have released CCTV footage in a bid to tackle this crime.

One image released by the police shows a suspect filling up several petrol containers packed in the boot of his car, and then driving off without paying.

The rising cost of petrol is being blamed for the large rise in fuel thefts across the region.
