Manchester Unilever Staff on Strike
Workers at the Trafford Park Unilever factory are on strike today, in a row over pensions.
The 24-hour walk-out is because the company, which makes brands like PG Tips and Pot Noodle, want to scrap their final salary pensions.
It means staff could lose 40% of their pension.
2,500 people at 11 sites are on strike, production of brands including Dove, Marmite and Hellman’s Mayonnaise are affected.
