Police are no longer treating the death of a man in Beswick as suspicious, after it was revealed he stabbed himself.
On Thursday police went to Manchester Royal Infirmary after getting reports a man had been admitted with stab injuries.
Officers think the injury happened at a home in Wren Way, Beswick.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, but sadly died from his wounds.
The post mortem was carried out today said the stab wounds were self inflicted.
It's now been passed to the coroner.
