Man Dies After Roadside Crash in Manchester

A 72 year old man from Manchester has died a week after an accident at the side of the road.

Police believe Terrence Moore's black Volskwagen Polo had broken down under the Hulme Arch on Princess Road on the 4th April.

As he was standing by the side of the car, a gold Renault Clio struck his vehicle causing it to crash into him. Mr Moore was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary but died on the 11th April.

His son, Ian Moore, said: "Tragically taken from us in a road traffic incident, he was loved by all his children, brothers and relatives and will be sadly missed and forever in our thoughts."

Anyone with information about the crash, which happened at 1350 BST, is urged to contact police.
