Man Charged Over Salford Summer Riots

A man has been charged in connection with riots in Salford last August.

23-year-old Zac Challinor has been charged with arson, violent disorder, burglary and attempt burglary.

He's been remanded into custody after appearing at Manchester City Magistrates Court yesterday.

The charges are for offences that happened in Salford in August, including a car beingset on fire on Heywood Way.

Challinor is due to appear in court again on the 6th January.
