An 18-year-old man's been arrested on suspicion of child abduction and sexual assault in Bolton.
An 18-year-old man's been arrested on suspicion of child abduction and sexual assault in Bolton.
It's after a six-year-old girl from the Tonge Moor area went missing on Wednesday night.
Police were alerted to her disappearance at around 7:45pm and she was later found.
An 18-year-old man was arrested and remains in police custody for questioning.
Chief Inspector John Buttress from Greater Manchester Police said, "I understand this incident will have caused concern within the local community but I can reassure members of the local community that we believe this is an isolated incident. Police took immediate action, made a prompt arrest and inquiries are ongoing".
