Police have raided 13 properties and arrested nine people in Leigh in a bid to crack down on drug offenses.
25 year old Liam Mountford of Glebe Street in Leigh has been charged with supplying Class A drugs and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
24 year old Nigel McDonough of Stringer Street, has been charged with supplying Class A drugs and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
36 year old Stephen Owen of Findlay Street, has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
23 year old David Conlin of Siddow Common, has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
45 year old Carl Orrell of Bond Street, has been charged with supplying Class A drugs and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
29 year old Daniel O?Brien of Cecil Street, has been charged with supplying Class A drugs and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
32 year old Joseph O?Rourke of Siddow Common, has been charged with supplying Class A drugs.
43 year old April Walker of Heddles Court, has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
44 year old Lee Jones of Keble Grove, has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
All appeared at Wigan Magistrates Court on last week and were remanded in custody to appear at court on 3 July 2012.
Last Wednesday, police carried out 13 search warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act at homes in the Leigh area.
Eleven men and two women were arrested for a variety of offences including possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
Two men remain on police bail pending further inquiries.
No further action will be taken against a man and a woman who were also arrested.
