Family Of Murdered Indian Student Head to Salford
The family of Anuj Bidve, shot dead in Salford on Boxing Day, are flying to Manchester.
It's believed his Father, mother and brother-in-law are travelling to Manchester to take his body home.
Anuj Bidve, from Pune in western India, was shot as he and friends walked along Ordsall Lane in Salford on Boxing day.
The 23-year-old had been visiting mates in Greater Manchester over the festive period.
Greater Manchester Police say the family are expected to visit the place where Mr Bidve was shot on Friday.
20-year-old Kiaran Stapleton, is accused of the murder and is remanded in custody.
Stapleton described himself in court as "Psycho Stapleton" when he appeared before magistrates, he remanded in custody until his next hearing at Manchester Crown Court in March.
A provisional trial date in the case has been set for 25 June.
Police say a 19-year-old has had his bail 'cancelled'.
