Boy Dies After Collision In Bolton
A 16-year-old boy has died after he was involved in a collision in Bolton.
Police were called to Marsden Road at 12.45am on Thursday 7th April after reports of the accident. They found that an off-road motorcycle had collided with a Nissan Micra.
The teenager who had been on the bike died at the scene. An 18 year old man who was also on the bike suffered minor injuries. The driver of the car was unhurt.
Marsden Road was closed for several hours after the incident while police carried out investigation work. Anyone with information is asked to call the road policing unit at Leigh on 0161 856 7201.
