Bolton Casino Staff Threatened With Axe in Robbery

Staff have been threatened with axes and a machete during a robbery at a Bolton casino.

Four men smashed their way into the Grosvenor Casinno on Ormrod Street yesterday evening.

Two of the robbers kept 'guard' at the entrance doors while the other two ran into the casino.

One of the men then jumped over the cash desk and stole money before all four
fled.

No one was hurt.

Police tell us CCTV evidence is now being studied by detectives.
