Body Found In Search For Missing Man

A body's been found in the River Mersey by police searching for missing man Neil Marsom

The 38-year-old man went missing two months ago.

Father-of-three Neil Marsom is thought to have drowned after police divers were unable to save him from a fast-flowing river on the 3rd of January.

Divers were searching for another man who was missing when they spotted a body in the River Goyt at Bredbury.

Police said the body was found at about just after 3pm on Monday (4th March) near the Waterside Hotel in Cheadle.
