Blackley man on stab charge

A Blackley man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was stabbed in Manchester.

Police were called to an address on Oxford Road just after 2pm on Monday 3rd January following reports a woman had been stabbed.

The 33 year old victim is now in a stable condition in hospital, with stab wounds to her chest and arm.

61 year old Brian Tuke from Parksway, is due at Manchester City Magistrates today (5th January).
