Police are appealing for witnesses after an 18 year old has died following a fight in Blackburn town centre.
18 year old Zeeshan Khan, of Dartford Close in Blackburn died in the early hours of yesterday morning in the Royal Preston Hospital.
A post mortem examination will be carried out to try and establish the cause of his death.
Mr Khan was taken to hospital with a head injury after getting into a fight with a 16 year boy on North Road in Blackburn on Monday afternoon.
The 16 year old boy has been interviewed by police.
Det Insp Mark Winstanley, of Blackburn Police, said: “This appears to have been a tragic incident involving two people which has sadly led to the death of Mr Khan. I would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen what happened to get in touch with us so that we can establish exactly what has happened.”
