A man's been arrested by police investigating the rape of a woman in Altrincham by a smartly-dressed man.
Officers are questioning the 19-year-old on suspicion of rape.
It follows an attack on a 30-year-old woman in the early hours of Sunday morning.
She met her attacker outside the Nicholson nightclub in Railway Street, Altrincham, at about 2.10am.
The man was wearing a dark pinstripe shirt, black waistcoat, a pink tie and smart shoes.
Detective Chief Inspector Jill Clarke of Greater Manchester Police said on Sunday: "This was a truly vile attack on a lone woman who has been left completely distraught by her ordeal.
"She is now in a safe place and is being supported by professionals who are dedicated to supporting victims in these kind of distressing circumstances.
