After a man was attacked in Altrincham, Police have released footage of two men they want to speak to.
At around 1.50am on Sunday 5 May 2013, the 22 year old victim was with friends in Nicholson’s nightclub when an argument broke out between two men.
The pair were kicked out of the club but as the victim and friends left, the men chased them.
When they reached a taxi rank on Stamford Road, the 22 year old was knocked to the floor and repeatedly kicked.
The victim was left with a fractured cheekbone, broken nose, ribs and a dislocated ankle.
One man is described as being white, 5ft 8in tall, of medium build and had a shaved head. He wore a black long sleeve top that was ripped at the back.
The second man was white, around 5ft 6in tall, of skinny build and had short dark hair. He wore a navy blue jumper with leather patches on the elbow.
Police have now released images of two men they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
Detective Constable Sonia Johnston from Trafford South INPT said: “There was an argument between the two parties which has resulted in a 22-year-old being severely punched and kicked. His injuries are that bad, it is likely he will need to spend the next few weeks in hospital.
"I would ask anyone who may have witnessed this vicious attack or recognise the descriptions given, to contact us. If you recognise the men in the images, please get in touch.”
