Man Exposes Himself To Young Girls

A man's exposed himself to a group of young girls at a park in Haslingden.

Police were called around 6.35pm on Friday (April 12th) following reports of an incident in Blackburn Road.

Three girls had been playing in the play area at Worsley Park when a man approached them and exposed himself.

The girls, aged between 9 and 12, ran off and reported the man.

The offender is described as white, 5ft 8in tall and aged in his 20s. He was wearing a grey Adidas tracksuit and blue baseball cap.

Det Sgt Sarah Hargreaves, of Burnley CID, said: “We are appealing for information following a report of indecent exposure in Haslingden.

“We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who recognises the man described.

“If anyone knows who this is, please contact police immediately.”
