Because personal hygiene is one of the hottest topics on the internet right now.
Everyone's been discussing their shower routine recently and it's really had us looking at people a little differently.
The internet is divided over whether or not you should wash your legs
Last week, there was a massive debate about if you need to wash your legs in the shower. Taylor Swift even joined the chat and admitted that, no, she doesn't exactly wash her legs because the shaving foam does the job for her? Yep, everyone's a little unsure on that one…
Now the latest hot topic is on washing the feet. It all started after news anchor Katie Alexander posed a question to her followers.
She tweeted: "Alright, this has already sparked a lot of talk here and brought up a follow up question: Do you wash your feet? I'll admit, I don't usually wash the bottoms of my feet because a)they're already in all the soapy water at the bottom & b) it makes it scary slippery! Your thoughts?"

This is a joke, right?? Who doesn’t wash their feet?? Now, I am not speaking to disabled people here, but if ableds aren’t washing their feet, that’s just nasty. 🤮 https://t.co/3Nj5NbYgU9

I don't wash my feet unless they need to be washed.

I know when they need to be washed, because they are my feet.
Your feet are the closest thing to the nasty ass ground. Especially in warm months. Wash them. https://t.co/POCruFEwE2

I’m honestly confused how people wash the bottoms of their feet. I mean, I make the effort if they’re dirty, but is anybody really doing yoga in the shower every morning?

What is going on with white people confessing on Twitter that they don’t wash their legs, feet, etc in the shower and just let the water flow do the work?

Is this is why most POC got my whole towel thing and white people were confused/thought I was crazy?
Can everyone, and I cannot stress EVERYONE enough, please stop admitting publicly that they don’t wash certain sections of their body. https://t.co/07VL0N7SAl

Look. I'm tired of y'all. Wash your legs. Wash your fucking feet. Bathe regularly.

And when you wash your hands, say your ABCs because that is how long you should be washing them.
In summation, stop being gross, you nasty bastards.
Some of you might think that splashing your tootsies in the water that has just fallen off of your body is enough, but unlike your legs, you 100% have to wash your feet. Your feet are a breeding ground for fungus and bacteria so a little splash of water just won't cut it.
According to the Institute For Preventative Foot Health, you're meant to wash your feet daily and give them a good ol' scrub with soap.
They advise: "Wash and thoroughly dry your feet every day. Use mild soap, and wash between the toes. Be sure to dry thoroughly, especially between the toes."
