Has Tana Mongeau been lying about her age?

People have suggested that Tana Mongeau could be lying about her age. The YouTuber was born on 24 June 1998, which makes her 22 years old, but new records suggest that she's actually 30.

VICE's Life Editorial Director, Casey Johnston, was researching if Tana had received any Paycheck Protection Program loans (PPP), which helps US businesses stay afloat during the coronavirus pandemic. However, whilst looking through LexisNexis (which provides legal and business research) they discovered that Tana's age had been listed as 30 years old and her birth year was actually documented as 1990.

"Hm in the process of trying to find out if tana mongeau got any PPP loans i've learned lexisnexis lists her age as 30, not 22 as the rest of the internet says," the tweet read.

Further research found that Tana wasn't included in her high school yearbook either. The tweet continued: "I've now looked through all the yearbooks from her high school from 2004-2009 and she is not in any of them, so either she is younger than that, she missed picture day (they don't seem to have any 'not pictured' students), or she didn't go to that high school. There are no yearbooks online after 2009 that i can find so i might die not knowing if this is real." Hmm…

It's worth noting that public record databases like LexisNexis can sometimes be incorrect, however, this isn't the first time that Tana has been accused of being older than she says she is.

In 2019, there were theories on Twitter that Tana had been keeping her real age a secret and she was actually 28 or 29…
