A 20-year-old woman's been charged with assisting an offender in connection with the death of a father-of-two in Nottingham.

Roseann Newton, of Findern Green, Nottingham, has been bailed to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on September 11, Nottinghamshire Police said.

It follows the death of Stephen Walsh, 37, who was discovered at home in Blenheim Avenue, Nottingham, on July 30, having allegedly been assaulted the previous evening.

A 21-year-old man, Oliver Brown, of Digby Avenue, also Nottingham, has already appeared in court charged with manslaughter.

He has been bailed to appear at Nottingham Crown Court next month.
