Two More Arrested After Leicester Stabbing

Two more arrests have been made after a man was seriously assaulted in the Beaumont Leys area.

Two 17-year-old men from Leicester were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an 18-year-old was attacked in Eskdale Road on Friday (25 January).

They have both been released on police bail.

Officers had been called at around 10.25pm on Friday by East Midlands Ambulance Service to a report of a man who had sustained a number of stab wounds. 

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

A 19-year-old man, from Leicester, who was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of attempted murder was released on police bail pending further enquiries.
