Nottinghamshire Police have arrested two more men after reports of an altercation - believed to have involved a group of up to 10 men.

It's after a 22-year-old man was detained on suspicion of affray yesterday following reports of violence in North Sherwood Street in the city centre.

The two men have also been arrested on suspicion of affray.

It is not believed that anyone has been seriously injured during the incident.

Inspector Jon Foy, who has overseen the police response to this incident, said: “Our investigations are ongoing to get a clearer picture of the circumstances surrounding this incident.

“We’re still appealing for anyone who saw what happened or who may have recorded dash-cam footage of the incident to contact us.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who believes they may have seen a number of vehicles leaving the area around that time, including one vehicle that we believe may had one of its windows smashed during the incident.”
