Nottingham Pub Prepares For 'Mad Friday'

Today is known as 'Mad Friday' where both emergency services and pub and clubs experience a busy 24 hours.
East Midlands Ambulance Service told Capital how they receive the highest number of 999 calls on the Friday before Christmas, with the majority being alcohol related.
The service is expecting a 20% increase in demand and ask people going out to enjoy themselves to know their limits.
Meanwhile, figures out today have revealed how on 'Mad Friday', Britons will drink high volumes of alcohol. More than they would on any other night of the year.
