Missing Derby Woman

Concerns are growing for the welfare of Gemma Demeda who was reported missing from her home in Newhall this morning (Thursday July 25).

Mrs Demeda, who is 28-years-old, was last seen at midnight. She's believed to have left home on foot and despite extensive searches of the area where she lives she has not been found. 

Officers on the ground and in the force helicopter have searched local parks and waste land since she was reported missing at 7.40am today but there have been no reported sightings of her. 

Mrs Demeda is described as being white, 5ft 6ins tall, with straight, light brown shoulder-length hair. She was wearing a blue hoodie with GD written on the left chest and Demeda Clan written in white on the back. She also wears glasses. 

She did not take her mobile phone or any money with her. Anyone who has seen Mrs Demeda or who knows where she is should contact the police on 101.
