Leicester Man In Court For Police Escape

A 20 year old man is to appear at Leicester Magistrates court today charged with escaping from custody. The alleged escape from a security van happened in Leicester on Boxing Day.
He is also charged with burglary relating to an incident in Main Street, Humberstone on Tuesday December 23.
An 18 year old woman who was suspected of helping the escape attempt has been released on bail.
