Police have confirmed a man has died after reports of a gas explosion in Nottinghamshire.
Emergency services were called to an address in East Grove in Bingham after the initial reports - with residents reported to have heard a bang at around 5.45am.
An 88-year-old man received medical treatment at the scene but died.

A cordon remains at the scene and officers are continuing to work with partners to establish the cause of what happened.
Police say they aren't treating it as suspicious.
