The mum of a 27-year-old who was killed in a crash in Leicestershire last December has made another appeal for information.
Ann Spalding's son Dean was killed on the A4304 Kilworth Road, in Husbands Bosworth on December 4th last year.
57-year-old Rudolfne Meszaros also died in the collision.
Crash
At the time of the crash Leicestershire Police said the collision involving a black Ford Focus Zetec, a red Volvo S80 and white or silver VW Golf.
Officers have now released a CCTV image of the white or silver Volkswagon Golf GTD Mk 6.
It's thought the Volvo was trying to overtake the Golf when it crossed onto the opposite side of the carriageway and collided head on with the Ford Focus, which was being driven by Mr Spalding. The VW didn't stop.
Family Appeal
Dean's mum, Ann Spalding said:
"It still feels as if it was yesterday. It was so out of the blue and all of a sudden that it doesn’t seem real.
"Not knowing what happened makes it worse. I have all sorts of scenarios going round in my head.
"I would encourage anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash, who could have seen anything, in particular this vehicle, to come forward and speak to the police.
"Please have a think. Does your neighbour or friend have a car like this and could it have been them in the area. They may know nothing about the crash which killed my son, so it is vital they speak to the police and let them know if they saw anything.
"The whole family is still trying to come to terms with what happened to Dean and we just want some questions answered. It won’t bring him back and it won’t change anything but it might help."
