Derby manager Frank Lampard has been fined £2,000 by the Football Association.

The FA confirmed on Tuesday the 40-year-old had been punished after he had accepted the standard penalty.

Speaking on ahead of the side's game with Blackburn - Lampard says he accepts the charge of improper conduct.

The former Chelsea midfielder was sent to the stands during his side's 1-0 defeat to Rotherham in the Championship on Saturday.

Lampard says he thinks the new process designed to improve touchline behaviour needs looking at as not all managers are treated the same.
