CCTV Images Released After Derby Sex Attacks

After a 16 year old girl was among two people sexually assaulted in Derby - police have released a picture of a man they want to speak to.

The teen was approached back on the April 1, while a 38-year-old woman was targeted 20 days later.

At around 7.20am on Tuesday, April 21, the 38-year-old woman was walking along London Road in Alvaston when a man riding a bike approached her from behind.

As he passed the woman, he put his hand up her skirt and rode off.

The man was described as Asian, aged between 18 and 22-years-old, with short dark hair and of chubby build. He was believed to have been wearing a red and navy blue coloured sweater and riding a dark coloured mountain bike.

A similar incident took place on Arboretum Street in Derby at around 3.30pm on Wednesday, April 1. A 16-year-old girl was approached by a cyclist who matches the description above and was sexually assaulted by him.

Police have now released CCTV stills of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incidents.
