Bombardier Letter

See the letter David Cameron wrote to Derby North MP Chris Williamson.

Chris Williamson wrote to David Cameron last month asking for a meeting with the PM about the way contracts for work are given to firms.

It's after Bombardier in Derby failed to get a £1.4billion trainbuilding deal - which went to a German firm instead.

In the letter below, Cameron once more says he will not change the procurement process - and says even if it was to change - it would not help Bombardier - because the work would not come in for several years after re-tendering.
