Police looking for a missing man in Leicester have found a body.
Formal identification hasn't happened yet but officers think it's William Tomlinson.
The 64-year-old went missing last Wednesday morning near his home on St. Stephens Road.
The body was found off Abingdon Road yesterday afternoon, an area is still taped off for forensic work.
Further Detention
A 34-year-old man and 23-year-old woman, arrested on suspicion of murder, remain in police custody after magistrates gave police more time for them to be held.
A cordon also remains on at St Stephens Road.
Detective Inspector Simon Shuttleworth, who is leading the murder investigation, told Capital:
'Our investigation is very much ongoing and a number of enquiries are being carried out.
'Although we believe we have found Bill's body, we are still keen to hear from anyone who thinks they may have seen him on Tuesday 17 or Wednesday 18 February.
'Have you seen any suspicious activity linked to Bill's death? Please come forward and speak to us as what you know may help us with our investigation.'
