The parents of a 21-year-old from Derbyshire - who was killed in a suspected hit and run - have appealed for the driver to come forward.
At around 4am on Bank Holiday Monday last month, the body of Halcyon Theuri was found on Wingfield Road in the Alfreton area of Derbyshire.
His stepfather, Andi Marriot paid tribute to the budding chef on behalf of him and his wife Faith. Halcyon had been out for a drink in Ripley with friends and was on his way home to The Peacock at Oakerthorpe, where he worked.
Mr Marriot said: "Halcyon was a caring and loving grandson, nephew, cousin, brother, friend and son to us. His younger brother and sister Maceo and Evelyn miss their big brother very much.
“The void that has suddenly entered our lives is one we would not wish for any parents."
Derbyshire Police also released CCTV footage of Halcyon before his death and of two cars that travelled along the road shortly before he was discovered. It's believed the people in these cas may have seen Halcyon or have details that could help.
Thanks to information from the public and CCTV images it has emerged that Halcyon left the Tesco car park at 3.30am and walked down King Street towards Gooker Lane. He was found in the Alfreton bound carriageway of the A615 at 3.54am.
