Nottingham Olympian Andy Turner appeals for help on Twitter after his house is burgled during his mum's funeral.
The 33-year-old athlete, who took bronze in the 110 metres hurdles at the 2011 World Championships in Daegu, used his Twitter page @andyturner110h to talk about the break-in on the day of his mum's funeral.
He tweeted:
'Please help, my mum's funeral today, whilst at the function, we were burgled and everything was stolen including my car, laptop, phone plus loads of other stuff.
'My car is a white Ranger Rover Sport L10 run but looks like 110 run, RT please.
'Can't believe these people could do this on a day like today, please help catch them. Please RT this and get these people caught.
'This happened in Hucknall in Nottingham around 8pm tonight, please help if u see a White Range Rover Sport or Mac please phone the police.'
Mr Turner, who was born in Hucknall, said he was 'absolutely devastated' by the break-in. His 58-year-old mum died suddenly on October 29.
