The RSPCA are trying to find the owner of a cat who survived a 30 mile journey between Nottingham and Chesterfield stuck under a car bonnet.
It's thought Scotty jumped onto the car engine when it had stopped in Carlton earlier this month.
He ended up in Hasland, Chesterfield with burnt paws and is now recovering at the RSPCA Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Animal Centre:
Richard Woodwards animal centre manager, said:
"Sadly because Scotty was not micro-chipped we have no way of finding his owners. He really is a sweet friendly cat and we just hope that there is someone out there who may know who his owner is.
"We have no idea where he came from, so it is a case of hoping that someone recognises him."
If the owner doesn't come forward, Scotty will be rehomed.
