V Festival 2011

Rihanna, The Wanted, The Saturdays, Example, Tinie Tempah, Bruno Mars and Jesse J will be playing V Festival this weekend.

Eminem and Arctic Monkeys will also headline this year's V Festival on August 20th and 21st 2011 at Weston Park in Staffordshire

They'll be joined by the likes of Plan B, The Script, Kaiser Chiefs, and Olly Murs.

The Script's Danny O'Donoghue said: "V Festival was our first ever UK show three years ago. It was a baptism of fire but we survived it. We love to play V; it's a real party for both festival-goers and bands. We can't wait for it."

The festival's in its 16th year and Festival Director Bob Angus said: "The breadth of accomplished talent performing throughout the weekend on the other stages is also something that we are very proud of with heavyweight acts including Dizzee Rascal, Razorlight, Chase and Status and Duran Duran joining the party."

Organisers said they were trying to make the festival more luxurious this year by setting up ready-built yurts and pop-up hotel rooms for accommodation.

Festival Director Simon Moran said: "It's fantastic to be able to introduce V Style this year. We hope that the lure of luxury camping will add that little extra something to music fans who love live performances and a festival atmosphere, but aren't always as keen on roughing it."
