Strikes
A number of schools across the city will be closed on Thursday the 30th of June because of a mass strike taking place across the UK.
Teachers will be taking industrial action in a row over pay and pensions as well as public sector workers who are also picketing.
With immigration staff striking the advise is to check before you travel:
Birmingham International Airport
Birmingham City Council workers will also be striking over cuts to weekend rates and pensions and rallying in the city centre along with thousands of members from the PCS, NUT, ATL and UCU. They'll be meeting at midday on Thursday at Victoria Square in Birmingham.
On the day many teachers may still decide to strike which could cause more schools to close. Capital's spoken to the council in to find out which ones are shutting their gates...click on the link below to see the list.
