West Midlands Police are urging teachers at every Birmingham and West Midlands school to speak to school children about knife crime.

The force are working with the Police and Crime Commissioner to reach every pupil before the summer holidays.

They want teachers to have heart-to-heart conversations with pupils, to help more lives being ruined.

After a wake of serious stabbings in the West Midlands they're urging young people to understand the impact of carrying a knife.
