Residents Evacuated after Oldbury Factory Fire
People living in an area of Oldbury have had to evacuate their homes after a big fire at a factory there.
West Midlands Police have told us the blaze started on the morning of Monday 26th November at Alcohols Ltd on Crosswell Road in Langley.
More than 70 firefighters were deployed to tackle the blaze in Langley shortly before 10am on Monday following reports of an explosion.
Officers said due to the fire at Alcohols Ltd on Crosswells Road residents in the immediate vicinity were evacuated from their homes.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that a man in his 20s was treated at the scene for burn injuries before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
