Police Investigate Birmingham Shooting

Police are investigating after a man was shot in the abdomen in Birmingham.

Officers were called to reports a man had been shot in Walkers Heath just after 10pm on 3rd September.

The 29-year-old sustained a single gunshot wound but managed to get to safety.

He was picked up in Druids Heath and taken to hospital by ambulance. He remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital following surgery.

Three men aged 18, 20 and 22 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. 

They remain in police custody and will be questioned in due course.
