Pensioner Charged Over Child Abuse
A 95-year-old man has been charged with a string of historic child sex offences
Jack Mount, from Devon, will appear before Birmingham Magistrates' Court later this month accused of 32 charges.
The offences are alleged to have been committed between 1954 and 1979 against 12 boys and girls.
Wendy Bounds, district Crown prosecutor from the West Midlands Crown Prosecution Service, said: ``Criminal proceedings are now active and the defendant has a right to a fair trial.
``It is therefore extremely important that there should be no commentary or reporting which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.''
