PCC Candidates Debate Birmingham Gun Crime
There was a debate in Lozells last night where there's been an increase in crimes like that. It was at St Paul's and St Silas' Church where a man was shot directly opposite it in December - fortunately, it wasn't fatal.
Current PCC David Jamieson is standing again for the Labour party. Alongside him are:
- Pete Durnell - UKIP
- Andy Flynn - Independent Party
- Les Jones - Conservative
Further local issues that were discussed were Stop n Search, FGM, CSE and anti-social behaviour which are all issues being faced by the local communities of Lozells, Hockley, Handsworth, Aston, and Newtown.
