Mosque Attack Suspect Questioned Over Saleem Murder

Police say one of two men arrested in connection with bomb attacks at 3 Mosques has also been arrested on suspicion of murdering 82 year old Mohamed Saleem in Birmingham.
Mr Saleem was stabbed 3 times in the back as he made his way home from evening prayers in Small Heath on April 29th.
His killing is now being treated as an act of terror and police are questioning a 25 year old man from Ukraine.
The family of Mr Saleem have this evening been informed.
Police have till Saturday to question both men they arrested on Thursday as part of the investigation into explosions at mosques in Wolverhampton, Tipton and Walsall.
