Man Shot In Birmingham By Armed Police Dies

A man in his 50's has died after being shot by armed officers in Lee Bank, during an police operation.

Police executed a warrant as part of an intelligence-led operation in Wheeleys Lane just before 5am on Friday 15 March.

The area remains cordoned off and the officers' body worn video has been downloaded,

It's now been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC)
