A man has been charged with the murder of a ‘loving and caring’ father who died at a Bilston house.
42 year old Deniss Buzmakovs was found with serious injuries at an address in Beckett Street in Bilston on Sunday.
42 year old Aleksejs Lusnikovs was last night charged with murder.
Detective Inspector Warren Hines, from the West Midlands Police Homicide Team, said: “This is a murder that has shocked the local community and we have been working flat-out to move the investigation forward.
“This is a significant development and we continue to support the many friends and family of Deniss at this sad time.”
A 34-year-old man who was also arrested has been released with no further action.
In a statement, Mr Buzmakovs' family said: “Deniss was a wonderful son, brother, father and partner. He was known within the family as the talented one as he could turn his hand to anything.
"He was a loving and caring person and had a great sense of humour. He would always make us laugh.
“His life has been taken from us and he will be sorely missed.
A post mortem examination is due to be carried out today.
