Edgbaston Man Arrested In Midnight Raid

Police have arrested a man during a midnight raid in Birmingham.

The 30-year-old from Edgbaston will now be questioned in connection with a shooting in Lyall Gardens in Frankley.

He was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

It's the fourth arrest officers have made after the incident in December.

A 22-year-old man was released under investigation after being arrested in Stoke-on-Trent.

A father and son were also arrested on 24th January when police stopped a car in Bristol Street.

The 48 and 25 year old were released on police bail and will face questioning at a later date.
